We can produce miniature hollow parts with walls as thin a 0.0003" (.008 mm). Applications include electrical bellows contacts with walls 0.0005" (.013 mm) thick for circuit boards and flexible nickel bellows 0.020" (.51 mm) diameter for laboratory instruments. Larger parts may have walls up to .025" (.64 mm) and be several feet in diameter.

Our Bellows type contact springs are made with electrodeposited nickel and then plated with gold to enhance conductivity. Bellows contact springs can be used in place of wire or mesh cylinders to achieve minimal self inductance, extremely low DC resistance, minimal insertion loss, lifetime spring repeatability, and compression with very small force (as low as 0.04 oz/in of travel) with a seamless and non-porous product.
